This is a true boot-wearing story about a boss I once had whom I completely had a crush on. This story takes place from 1999-2001. I had been dying for years to tell this story.
Her name was Robyn. She was 46 when she first came to work at my office. Normally, not be be ageist, but I don't necessarily have a thing for older women (Robyn was 16 years older than me, not *quite* old enough to be my mother necessarily, but definitely old enough to be my older sister), but I was immediately struck by how attractive she was. I was *really* surprised when I found out she was 46. I honestly thought at first she was in her mid-30s. It turned out she simply took very, very good care of herself. Robyn was a brunette with a pretty heart-shaped face and high cheekbones. Her features seemed slightly Asian, and I wondered for a while if she might have some Oriental blood in her, but it turns out she was 100 percent Irish.
